Location

The historic cathedral city of Lincoln is the County town of Lincolnshire with a travel to work population of 297,000.

The city benefits from good road communications being located at the intersection of the A46, A15 and A57 trunk roads.

The A1 is easily accessible being approximately 18 miles (29 km) to the west.

The M180, M18 and M62 are all accessible via the A15, the M180 being approximately 20 miles (32 km) to the north.

Lincoln has a direct rail link to Newark which provides services to London King's Cross with an approximate journey time from Newark to London of 1 hour 15 minutes. There are also direct services to Nottingham and Sheffield.

There is easy access to a number of International airports including East Midlands 47 miles (75 km) to the west and Robin Hood (Doncaster) approximately 54 miles (86 km) to the north.

Lincoln is an expanding University City having witnessed approximately £150 million worth of investment over the last 8 years within the University environ.

The campus is contiguous with the Brayford Enterprise Park. The facilities within the University include schools of Architecture, Business, Law, Media and Sciences, thus providing a ready-made labour pool.
